DWRW: The Midnight Thief
Ever since she was young, Thea Rousseau-Capello lived on the move, hopping from one town to the next without rhyme or reason behind her borderline nomadic lifestyle. And yet—despite all the frustrations and complications that followed her like the plague—the life she led was predictable to the point of comfort…until one mundane field trip goes south and turns Thea’s whole worldview upside down.
It turns out that reality isn’t as black-and-white as it appears to be, that the stories she grew up with are more than just make-believe. The gods and monsters from all of the world’s myths and legends are real, and they’re aiming to ruin what little normalcy Thea had left.
With a godly relic going missing and fingers pointing the blame her way, Thea and her newfound friends must embark on a dangerous quest to prove her innocence and return the Midnight Whip to its rightful owner before all hell breaks loose across the multiverse. All while unraveling the mystery behind her father and the circumstances surrounding her birth.
